Converting Mobile Phone Photos and Video to DVD
Including transfering photos and video from Android and iPhone to DVD, Mac and PC computers - San DiegoMobile phone photo and video conversion service
Seems like everyone is taking photos and videos with their iPhone and Android mobile phones these days. Unfortunately not everyone is backing up or copying these memories over to another location like a computer or DVD. If you notice how often phones get dropped, damaged or just outright crash you can see how easy it is for these images to be lost forever.
Keeping a lot of video and photos stored on a cell phone can actually drain the phone battery faster and could ultimately lead to a shorter battery life. Moving your photos and videos from your phone to a computer, flash drive, DVD or hard drive will help ensure you don’t lose them altogether and may actually help your phone work more efficiently.
We convert Android and iPhone photos and videos to DVD, Gold Archival DVDs, CD, blu ray, Mac and PC computers. We can also make a video from them that can be put on blu ray, DVD or a video file you can share or upload to the web.

Which format is the best for transferring cell phone photos and videos?
To answer this we must first determine what you plan to do with them. Do you just need them backed up somewhere other than your phone? The files can be copied over to an usb flash drive or external hard drive or put onto a DVDrom or CDrom disc. Archival gold DVDs are one the longest lasting media options for your files.
Photos can be copied over as they are now or strung together into a photo montage video (often referred to as a slide show). As a photo montage video they can be put onto a DVD, blu ray or in an MP4 file.
Videos can be combined into one video and put onto a DVD, blu ray or in an MP4 file.

How to Order
Step 1: Decide what format you want your videos converted to: DVDs, blu ray or digital files (MP4). If you only want DVDs or blu rays skip to Step 4.
Step 2: Decide what format you want your photos converted to: DVDrom, CDrom, usb flash drive or external hard drive. If you want them made into a video “slideshow” you’ll need to determine if you want them on DVD, blu ray or MP4 and continue to Step 4.
Step 3: DIGITAL FILEs: If you just want them copied straight over to a flash drive or external hard drive will you be providing your own external USB hard drive or flash drive or do you want us to add one to the order? If you’re providing your own, don’t forget to include it with your videos. If you don’t want any DVDs skip to Step 8.
Step 4: DVDs or blu rays: For transfer to DVD or blu ray: If the videos total less than 2 hours, is it okay for us to combine them to fill up a 2 hour DVD or blu ray disc? This will conserve space in your media cabinet. Is it okay for us to split any video over 2 discs if it will not fit?
Step 5: If there is a particular order you want them to appear let us know.
Step 6: Decide how you want your discs to be labeled. How do you want it to read? This is just for your benefit so that one day in the future, when you pull out the DVD you’ll know what’s on it. (Example: Smith Family Videos)
Step 7: Do you want your videos on Gold Archival 100-year DVDs? Will you need any additional DVD copies for anyone else? How many?
Step 8: Do you have any 8mm or 16mm films you need transferred to DVD or digital files? Do you have any photos or slides you need scanned to digital files? This would be a good time to get them together and bring in with your videos.
Step 9: Now you’re ready to bring your videos to Sunray for transfer. Select the option below for dropping them off in person or ordering by mail. If you prefer to ship them to us, we recommend using a courier such as UPS or FedEx for shipping as they have good tracking systems so you’ll know where the package is at all times.
